Who are we?
We are the NW women's league of college lacrosse teams. Our teams are in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Montana. We are part of the WCLA (Women's Collegiate Lacrosse Association) and USL (US Lacrosse). The Northwest Women's Lacrosse League is for college club teams in these states. Club teams mean that the players are not under scholarship and usually teams fund their own tournaments and seasons. This set up allows for players to have more flexibility in class schedules and take on leadership roles!
Who do we play?
The teams play in 3 different divisions based on school size and team ability. The teams travel within the NW regional to play 8-10 games per season. Additionally teams can compete against other divisions in the U.S. through tournaments.
Are we competitive?
Yes! We have regionals every year and then the winner goes on to Nationals which is a highly competitive tournament. In addition teams have the option to travel to various tournaments around the country to compete at a National level.
How can I follow my favorite team?
We have many different ways to follow teams, games, scores and stats! The best way is on the "teams" page to follow your teams twitter or instagram. Also you can visit wcla.club to see all the schedules & standings!
